abstract | A direct liquid fuel cell membrane having both high proton conductivity and high alcohol non-permeability is obtained. A) one polymerizable group, at least one alkoxy group or acyloxy group, and at least one hydrogen atom bonded to an aromatic ring; b) a bridge; A polymerizable composition containing at least a polymerizable polymerizable monomer and c) a polymerization initiator is brought into contact with the porous film to fill the polymerizable composition in the voids of the porous film, and then the polymerization is performed. The aromatic composition has a hydroxyl group by polymerizing and curing, then hydrolyzing the alkoxy group or the acyloxy group, and then introducing a cation exchange group into the aromatic ring derived from the aromatic polymerizable monomer. A diaphragm for a direct liquid fuel cell is manufactured. [Selection figure] None |
