abstract Provided is a near-infrared absorption filter with high display quality that has almost no interference fringes when mounted on a plasma television while having a high near-infrared shielding ability. A near-infrared absorption filter includes a film-like support, a near-infrared absorbing layer formed on one surface of the support, and containing a binder and a near-infrared absorbing dye. It has the easily bonding layer 16 formed in the direction. As the easy-adhesion layer 16, when the refractive index of the support 12 at a wavelength of 550 mn is η1 and the refractive index of the easy-adhesion layer 16 at a wavelength of 550 mn is η2, an easy-adhesion layer that satisfies | η1−η2 | ≦ 0.03 16 is formed.
