titleOfInvention | Toner, method for producing the same, and image forming method |
abstract | Provided are a toner, a toner manufacturing method, and an image forming method capable of obtaining a sufficient image density and achieving a low toner adhesion amount per unit area on a recording medium such as paper. A toner solution is prepared by dissolving or dispersing a toner material containing at least an active hydrogen group-containing compound, a polymer capable of reacting with the active hydrogen group-containing compound, a binder resin, a release agent, and a colorant in an organic solvent. After the preparation, the toner solution is emulsified or dispersed in an aqueous medium to prepare an emulsified dispersion, and the active hydrogen group-containing compound and the polymer capable of reacting with the active hydrogen group-containing compound are reacted in the aqueous medium. The adhesive base material is produced in the form of particles, the organic solvent is removed, and the time X (hour) from the start point of the removal of the organic solvent until the concentration of the organic solvent becomes less than 12% by mass, and the time X The temperature T (° C.) of the emulsified dispersion in FIG. 5 {exp (−0.2X) +1} ≦ T ≦ 50X− 0.2 (1) [Selection figure] None |
