abstract A membrane permeation type gas analyzer in oil has a problem that it takes time to collect gas as compared with other methods such as a bubbling method. A gas reservoir chamber formed by a gas permeable membrane and a grooved flange has an elongated shape with a predetermined volume. At the time of gas collection, the gas is diffused to the gas reservoir chamber side through the gas permeable membrane. At the time of gas measurement, the carrier gas is supplied from the end of the gas reservoir chamber, the gas reservoir chamber is replaced with the carrier gas, and a predetermined amount of sample gas is sent out from the other end and supplied to the gas measuring device. The calibration tube can be omitted by calibrating the sample gas in the gas reservoir. In addition, by forming the shape of an elongated groove, the shear stress applied to the gas permeable membrane can be reduced, and the thickness of the gas permeable membrane can be reduced.
