titleOfInvention Multi-layer adhesive composition
abstract Conventionally, since the adhesion between a surface untreated metal plate and an organic material such as an organic material, particularly an elastomer composition, is poor, the metal plate and the organic polymer layer are treated by ground-treating the metal surface with hexavalent chromium. A laminated plate made of a metal and an organic polymer layer having improved adhesiveness has been used. In recent years, it has been found that hexavalent chromium is harmful to the human body, and metal surface undercoating without using hexavalent chromium has been proposed. However, the present situation is that the adhesion between the metal plate and the organic polymer layer is not sufficient and the practicality is inferior. The constitution of the present invention is that a first layer is a thermosetting metal surface pretreatment agent comprising aluminum alcoholate or a chelate compound thereof that does not use hexavalent chromium, and a nanoparticulate silica, and a second layer is a novolak type phenol resin. The present invention relates to a multilayer adhesive composition characterized by comprising a thermosetting primer comprising an epoxy resin and a curing agent, and having greatly improved adhesion between a metal plate and an organic polymer layer.
