titleOfInvention | Information display sheet writing device |
abstract | Provided is a writing device that can be written on an information display sheet by hand, does not require a large device for writing or erasing, and is excellent in portability. A transparent front panel is provided on the viewing side, a transparent transparent conductive film including a solid electrode (or a small area electrode) and a thin metal wire is disposed on the front transparent panel, and a rear panel on the opposite side to the viewing side. A back side conductive film is arranged on the back panel, a rewritable information display sheet is inserted in the space between the front transparent panel and the back panel, and a space is provided between the front transparent panel and the inserted information display sheet. Apply a voltage between the front side transparent conductive film and the back side conductive film to form an electric field smaller than the drive threshold of the electric field driven by the display medium, and press the writer against the front transparent panel to bend. By reducing the distance between the conductive films facing each other, the electric field formed between the two conductive films becomes equal to or higher than the drive threshold, the display medium moves, and writing display can be performed.
