abstract Provided is a method for producing a conductive rubber roller having a uniform aspect ratio and cell distribution of the inner and outer diameters of the tube of the conductive rubber roller, a low hardness, and no hardness and resistance unevenness. As a rubber material of a foam rubber layer, epichlorohydrin rubber, acrylonitrile butadiene rubber or a mixture thereof is used as a main rubber, and a molecular weight is 1000 to 2000 with respect to 100 parts by mass of the main rubber together with a chemical foaming agent. The rubber material formed by mixing 0.1 to 10 parts by mass of liquid polybutadiene is irradiated with microwaves with an irradiation section length of 2 m or less and an irradiation intensity of 0.5 kW to 2.5 kW.
