titleOfInvention Optical biosensor matrix
abstract A detection cell used as one component of an optical biosensor is provided. A detection cell (2) is configured to include a transparent substrate plate (8) and a sample plate (4) on the substrate plate. The sample plate has a matrix of a plurality of wells (6) extending therein, and a sample is accommodated in each well. The substrate plate includes a thin film waveguide and a diffraction grating means, where the incident light region enters and couples into the thin film waveguide below the well to generate a region of diffracted light, and thus the effectiveness of the thin film waveguide. Enables detection of refractive index change. [Selection] Figure 1
