titleOfInvention | Water purification treatment equipment |
abstract | [Problem] Firstly, the present invention proposes a water purification treatment apparatus which is excellent in treatment equipment, capacity, cost and the like, and secondly, the treatment is carried out quickly and reliably. The water purification treatment apparatus 1 oxidizes and decomposes an organic compound 2 contained in water with OH radicals generated based on direct current electrolysis. In the negative electrode 4, water and dissolved oxygen are reduced by supply electrons to generate hydroxide ions, and in the positive electrode 5, the hydroxide ions are oxidized by holes to generate OH radicals. The OH radical, for example, targets an organic structure double bond or a hydrogen atom, and based on the addition or substitution of this with an OH group, the carbon chain, the organic bond, and the molecular bond are broken, decomposed, and broken. Specifically, it oxidizes and decomposes into hydrogen, carbon dioxide, water, and other low-molecular compounds. Further, intermediate products of oxidation and decomposition processes are attached, raised, separated and removed by bubbles 6 of oxygen and hydrogen generated at the positive electrode 5 and the negative electrode 4.
