titleOfInvention | Method for producing biaryl compound |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a biaryl compound, which can provide a relatively free functional group and is excellent in reaction efficiency without requiring expensive and complicated production equipment. A method for producing a biaryl compound is disclosed. The production method of the present invention has the following formula (II): [Chemical 1] Reacting the oxazoline compound represented by formula (I) in an organic solvent in the presence of a ruthenium catalyst and a hydrogen scavenger. The biaryl compound produced by the present invention can be used as a chemical intermediate such as a chemical catalyst, or a synthetic intermediate thereof through complex formation with a transition metal or as such.
