titleOfInvention Panel body manufacturing method
abstract Provided is a panel body manufacturing method capable of shortening the time spent for a sealing process and increasing the production efficiency of a panel body when sealing two glass substrates using laser light. A glass substrate 62 and a glass substrate 61 are overlapped, a sealing material 30 is applied to a peripheral portion between the substrates to prepare a panel assembly, and the sealing material is locally heated to a sealing temperature and softened. A panel body manufacturing method for manufacturing a panel body 60 by sealing a first glass substrate and a second glass substrate by flowing, wherein the sealing material does not substantially contain lead. And a low melting point glass powder containing Bi 2 O 3 and B 2 O 3 in a total amount of 65 to 90 wt% and CuO of 0.5 to 3 wt% in terms of oxide, and a refractory ceramic filler. A method of manufacturing a panel body comprising a frit, wherein the local heating is performed by irradiating the sealing material with a laser beam having a wavelength of 500 to 1600 nm.
