titleOfInvention Cold cathode discharge lamp, backlight unit, and liquid crystal display device
abstract The present invention provides a cold cathode discharge lamp capable of reducing mercury consumption as much as possible without connecting between a glass container sealing portion and an electrode in an introduction line. [Solution] A tubular glass container 26 made of soda glass, sealed at both ends, an introduction line 22 penetrating the end of the glass container 26, and an electrode 20 joined to the inner end of the glass container 26 of the introduction line 22; A cold cathode discharge lamp having mercury enclosed in a glass container 26, wherein the lead-in wire 22 includes a copper metal core 42 made of a Ni-Fe alloy and a copper wire concentrically coated with a jumet wire portion 40 and a copper wire. Is formed in the axial direction of the cored bar 42, and the jumet wire part 40 is sealed to the glass container 26. The electrode 20 extends from the portion 40 to the inside of the glass container 26, and is joined to the non-jumet line portion 38. [Selection] Figure 3
