abstract Provided is an endogenous ligand for T cell costimulation via CD26. According to the present invention, it was shown that caveolin-1 is an endogenous ligand for T cell costimulation via CD26. Since the Caveolin-1-Fcγ1 fusion protein inhibits CD26-mediated T cell costimulation by caveolin-1, the pharmaceutical composition containing the fusion protein can be used as an immunosuppressant or the like.
