titleOfInvention Locally swollen polymer gel
abstract The present invention provides a polymer gel material having both swellability, mechanical properties and functionality useful as a functional member such as a control device. A polymer gel having a three-dimensional network formed by combining (A) a polymer of a (meth) acrylamide compound and (B) a water-swellable clay mineral, A locally swollen polymer gel characterized in that R) is locally different. A polymer gel with a three-dimensional network consisting of a polymer of an acrylamide compound and a water-swellable clay mineral that has been processed or modified to produce local swelling is mechanically tough and has high local swelling with excellent functionality. Used as a molecular gel. [Selection] Figure 1
