abstract |
A stent graft including an intraluminal stent and a graft is provided. The present invention provides a stent-graft that releases a reagent that induces in vivo adhesion of the stent-graft to the vessel wall or otherwise attaches the stent-graft to the vessel wall. Induces or accelerates the in vivo fibrous response to adhere to. Methods for making and using such stent grafts are also provided. In a related aspect, the stent-graft is constructed such that the graft itself is composed of a material that induces adhesion or fiber formation with the vessel wall. [Selection] Figure 1 |
