abstract | The present invention provides a timepiece dial manufacturing method capable of efficiently manufacturing a timepiece dial having excellent light transmission and decoration (aesthetic appearance) by a simple method, light transmission and decoration. It is intended to provide a timepiece dial having excellent properties (aesthetic appearance), and to provide a watch that can supply a sufficient amount of external light to a solar cell and has excellent decorativeness. A method for manufacturing a timepiece dial includes a timepiece dial having a coating 3 made of a material having a function of reflecting or absorbing light on a substrate 2 made of a light transmissive material. A liquid composition 31 containing a material having a function of reflecting or absorbing light is intermittently ejected as droplets from the head portion by vibration of a piezoelectric element on the substrate.
