PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Ni-plated steel sheet excellent in slidability and corrosion resistance and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Excellent slidability and corrosion resistance characterized by having an oxide film containing one or more elements selected from Al, Si, and P on the plating surface and having a plated pinhole sealed. Ni-plated steel sheet. The formation of the oxide film and the sealing of the plated pinhole are preferably performed by an anodic electrolytic treatment.
