PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a benzofluorene derivative under mild conditions. A benzofluorene derivative is produced by the following steps 1 to 3. [Step 1] A step of reacting a boronic acid derivative with a naphthalene derivative in the presence of a transition metal catalyst and a base to obtain a phenylnaphthalene derivative. [Step 2] A reaction of the phenylnaphthalene derivative with a Grignard reagent to produce a tertiary compound. Step of obtaining an alcohol derivative, [Step 3] Step of cyclizing the tertiary alcohol derivative in the presence of an acid catalyst [Selection] None |
