titleOfInvention | Magnetic two-component developer toner |
abstract | To provide a toner for a magnetic two-component developer capable of realizing good gradation and good developability by devising the shape and the like of toner particles irrespective of adjustment on the process side. When a magnetic two-component developer passes through a panning plate 32, the toner and the magnetic carrier rub against each other to charge the toner. When the magnetic two-component developer comes into contact with the surface of the image carrier 20, a toner image is formed on the image carrier 20 and the electrostatic latent image is developed. The toner of the magnetic two-component developer used for development includes cylindrical toner particles prepared by stretching and cutting a molten toner component into a cylindrical fiber shape, and the standard deviation of the particle size distribution of the cylindrical toner particles is 1.20 μm or less. The value obtained by dividing the cylinder length of the cylindrical toner particles by the cylinder cross-sectional diameter is 1.0 or more and 2.0 or less. The average circularity of the cylindrical toner particles is 0.890 or more and 0.920 or less. [Selection] Figure 1 |
