titleOfInvention Purification method of phenyl (meth) acrylate
abstract Provided is a method capable of efficiently removing phenol from phenyl (meth) acrylate containing phenol and obtaining purified phenyl (meth) acrylate with less phenol. SOLUTION: This is a method for purifying phenyl (meth) acrylate by crystallizing crude phenyl (meth) acrylate containing 30% by mass or less of phenol to obtain precipitated phenyl (meth) acrylate crystals. At the time of crystallization, at least one compound selected from the group consisting of benzene, toluene, xylene, cumene, ethylbenzene, hexane, octane, decane, methacrylic acid and acrylic acid is added to crude phenyl (meth) acrylate. Preferably it is present. [Selection figure] None
