titleOfInvention Vascular access catheter
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vascular access catheter capable of avoiding a “blood vessel sticking phenomenon” at the distal end of a catheter, which has been a major obstacle for obtaining a stable blood flow in a vascular access catheter mainly used for blood purification therapy. To do. SOLUTION: In a double lumen catheter for returning blood through two lumens provided by partitioning the inside of one catheter in the longitudinal direction, the blood return lumen penetrates to the distal end of the catheter and an end hole type opening 14 is formed. The blood removal lumen communicates with the outside through the end hole-type opening 12 at a position separated from the opening 14 of the blood return lumen to the base side, and from the opening 12 of the blood removal lumen. A narrow diameter portion 11 is formed on the distal end side, and a side hole 13 communicating from the blood return lumen to the outside is provided on the side wall on the narrow diameter portion 11 where the opening 12 of the blood removal lumen is located. Characteristic vascular access catheter. [Selection] Figure 1
