abstract | A light control device capable of changing light transmittance by applying a voltage, which can be manufactured very easily and has high responsiveness. Provided is a light adjuster that has a short time until the change in transmittance is completed, suppresses uneven color generation, and is excellent in handleability and durability as compared with a sealed liquid material. A dimmer comprising a pair of electrode substrates, at least one of which is transparent, and a single-layer solid film having conductivity and electrochromic properties sandwiched between the electrode substrates. The monolayer solid film contains a polyacetylene compound represented by the following formula (1). [Chemical 1] In the formula (1), R is an alkyl group having 6 to 40 carbon atoms which may be branched, an alkoxy group (the alkyl group has 6 to 40 carbon atoms), an SR 4 group (R 4 is a hydrogen atom or 6 carbon atoms). Represents an alkyl group of ˜40, and n represents an integer. [Selection figure] None |
