In a hybrid vehicle, one of two motors MG1 and MG2 is traveled in a two-motor travel mode in which both a motor MG1 and MG2 are coupled to a drive shaft 67 by a transmission 60. Is determined as a main motor that preferentially outputs power (step S130), and the motor MG2 or MG1 serving as the main motor outputs power preferentially to the other motor MG1 or MG2 serving as the sub motor and is applied to the drive shaft 67.
