Artificial vascular valve |
abstract |
Preparation of tissue valve structures using submucosa and replacement or repair of damaged or diseased valves of the heart and circulatory system of warm-blooded vertebrates using these valve structures Intended. The tissue valve takes the form of a continuous tubular body having a diameter D that approximates the diameter of the defective valve. The tubular body has first and second opposing ends 20, 22 and a triple wall middle portion 24 having a length L of about 1.5D to about 3.5D. The triple wall portion of the tissue graft is flipped over from the first end of the tubular body to the end of the double wall, adjacent to the end of the double wall, and extending from the end of the double wall. Formed by forming a tubular structure having an existing double wall portion. [Selection] Figure 4 |
