titleOfInvention | Aggregated particle manufacturing method and toner |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely reduce the size of aggregated particles and narrow the size distribution of aggregated particles by preventing over-aggregation of resin particles in the emulsion aggregation method of aggregating resin particles to obtain aggregated particles. A method for producing aggregated particles that can be provided is provided. In the dispersion step, resin particles are dispersed in an aqueous medium to produce a slurry of resin particles, and in the aggregation step, aggregation for agglomerating the resin particles to the resin particle slurry obtained in the dispersion step. An agent and hardly soluble inorganic particles are added to aggregate the resin particles. Thereby, the hardly soluble inorganic particles function as a spacer, and the resin particles can be prevented from agglomerating rapidly when the dispersant is added to the slurry of the resin particles.
