abstract |
A charging assembly capable of reducing the occurrence of abnormal images due to adhesion of toner, toner external additives, lubricants and their decomposition products to the surface of a charging member is provided. A charging assembly of the present invention has an electric resistance adjusting layer formed on a conductive support and a surface layer covering the surface of the electric resistance adjusting layer.
