titleOfInvention | Liquid developer, method for producing liquid developer, and image forming apparatus |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid developer that is excellent in fixing characteristics of toner particles to a recording medium and is environmentally friendly, and to produce a liquid developer capable of efficiently producing such a liquid developer. To provide a method, and to provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming a toner image having excellent fixing strength and suitable for low-temperature and high-speed fixing. The liquid developer of the present invention is a liquid developer in which toner particles are dispersed in an insulating liquid, and fatty acid monoesters and a dispersant are unevenly distributed in the vicinity of the surface of the toner particles, and The insulating liquid contains an unsaturated fatty acid triglyceride. The viscosity of the fatty acid monoester is preferably 10 mPa ยท s or less. The fatty acid monoester is preferably an ester of a saturated fatty acid having 8 to 18 carbon atoms. The resin material constituting the toner particles is preferably a polyester resin. [Selection] None |
