PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin having an excellent effect in preventing or improving skin aging and rough skin by finding an antioxidant having an excellent effect and further incorporating such an antioxidant as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: One or more essential oils selected from atlas cedar ( Cedrus atlantica ), cypress ( Cupressus sempervirens ), and cayupute ( Melaleuca eucadedron ) are used as antioxidants. Further, by blending these antioxidants as active ingredients, it was possible to provide a skin external preparation for improving aging and rough skin. [Selection figure] None |
