abstract |
A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of exhibiting a high capacity retention rate and a lithium composite metal oxide useful for the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery are provided. A lithium composite metal oxide, wherein at least one lithium composite metal oxide particle constituting the crystal has both a hexagonal crystal structure and a monoclinic crystal structure. In a powder X-ray diffraction pattern of a lithium composite metal oxide obtained by powder X-ray diffraction measurement using CuKα as a radiation source and a diffraction angle 2θ measurement range of 10 ° to 90 °, 2θ is 20 ° to 23 °.
