abstract | A positive photosensitivity capable of forming a patterned organic film obtained by developing with an alkaline aqueous solution, excellent in high sensitivity, high resolution, high heat resistance, good profile, good focus tolerance, few development residues, etc. A composition is provided. A positive photosensitive material containing a photosensitive compound and an alkali-soluble resin, may further contain an additive, and at least one of the photosensitive compound and the additive contains a compound having an adamantane ring. A quinonediazide sulfonic acid ester compound having an adamantane ring is contained as a photosensitive compound, and a precursor phenol compound is contained as an additive.
