abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for suppressing a significant decrease in the antiseptic effect of a combination of antibacterial polyhydric alcohol and phenoxyethanol, which sometimes occurs. SOLUTION: 1) a phospholipid and / or polyoxyethylene addition type nonionic surfactant, 2) a skin external preparation containing phenoxyethanol, and 3) a phosphate ester chelating agent for external use on the skin. It is included in the agent. The phospholipid is preferably lecithin or lysolecithin, the polyoxyethylene-added nonionic surfactant is preferably a polyoxysorbitan fatty acid ester, and the phosphate ester chelating agent is hydroxyethane. It is preferably one selected from diphosphonic acid, aminotrimethylenephosphonic acid, phosphonobutanetricarboxylic acid, phytic acid, triphosphonomethylamine oxide and physiologically acceptable salts thereof.
