titleOfInvention Method of dispersing fullerenes in water
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe water dispersion method for fullerenes. A water dispersion method for fullerenes comprising adding water to a crushed mixture obtained by crushing monosaccharide or oligosaccharide crystals, fullerenes, and a nonionic or anionic surfactant, A water dispersion method for fullerenes, wherein the fullerene is a fullerene hydroxide. Sucrose, glucose and the like can be used for monosaccharides or oligosaccharides, and polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil or polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester can be used for the surfactant. It is also possible to produce fullerene aqueous dispersions by using water-soluble saccharides and inorganic salts such as KBr and NaCl instead of monosaccharide or oligosaccharide crystals.
