titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of toner for developing electrostatic image, toner, image forming apparatus and container |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: Toner having a narrow particle size distribution and a uniform particle size, which efficiently suppresses the amount of decomposition product of a reaction initiator, residual solvent, etc., has no odor, has excellent fine line reproducibility, and further has a cleaning performance. And a manufacturing method thereof and an image forming apparatus using the obtained toner. A step of dissolving / dispersing a toner composition comprising at least a resin and a colorant in an organic solvent, and a step of emulsifying and dispersing the solution or dispersion in an aqueous medium in which a fine particle dispersant is present. At least a step of removing the organic solvent from the emulsified dispersion in a hermetically sealed solvent removal tank, and the organic solvent removing step is performed from the lower side of the tank with an inert gas to the amount of the emulsified dispersion in the tank every minute. An electrostatic charge characterized by increasing the gas phase contact surface area of the emulsified dispersion by bubbling at a supply amount of 1 to 30 vol%, and making the gas phase contact surface area of the emulsified dispersion larger than the horizontal cross-sectional area of the tank. A method for producing a toner for image development. [Selection] Figure 1 |
