A photosensitive negative pattern forming composition comprising metal fine particles and a metal fine particle dispersion containing a dispersant that keeps the particles in a dispersed state, wherein the dispersant is exposed to light from the metal fine particles. The photosensitive negative pattern forming composition as described above, which is a photosensitive dispersing agent that can be released to cause release of the dispersed state.
