titleOfInvention Implant
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide an implant capable of promptly enhancing bone tissue renewal and capable of bonding with bone tissue in a short period of time and more reliably. The implant of the present invention is characterized in that a metal oxide layer having photocatalytic activity and biocompatibility is provided on the surface of the implant material. Since the implant of the present invention has a metal oxide layer having biocompatibility on the surface thereof, it becomes possible to increase the adhesion area with osteoblasts when implanted in a living body, and as a result, Cell adhesion and cell proliferation can be improved. As a result, bone tissue renewal is rapidly enhanced, and bone tissue and implant can be more reliably combined in a short period of time. Moreover, since the metal oxide layer formed on the surface of the implant of the present invention also has photocatalytic activity, it is possible to sterilize bacteria and the like attached to the surface of the implant to completely remove the infected foci and to detoxify it. Therefore, even if the implant is contaminated, re-bone formation is possible, and it is also effective for treating peri-implantitis. [Selection figure] None
