titleOfInvention | Inactivation method of silkworm cura virus |
abstract | Kind Code: A1 It has been reported that useful proteins are accumulated in a culture medium or in silkworms using silkworm-derived cells, but silkworm-like viruses are present in many silkworm-derived cells. Provided is a method for inactivating a silkworm-like virus in order to enhance virus safety assurance when producing a useful protein using silkworm-derived cells. When a useful protein is produced using silkworm-derived cells, an intermediate product is subjected to an acid treatment at pH 0.5 to 3.0 in the production process in order to inactivate silkworm-like virus.
