Battery electrode substrate and battery electrode |
abstract |
The present invention provides a battery electrode substrate and a battery electrode that are less likely to have a reduced capacity even during repeated charge and discharge and that have excellent high rate discharge characteristics. Nickel is formed on the surface of a base material 1 made of fibers having a core portion 2 made of a synthetic resin and a covering portion 3 coated with a synthetic resin having a softening temperature lower than that of the resin constituting the core portion 2. It is the electrode substrate for batteries which coat | covered. In this electrode substrate, the intersections of the fibers of the base material are fused by heat treatment. Moreover, the ratio of the coating | coated part to XX cross section of a fiber intersection is larger than the ratio of the coating | coated part to the fiber cross section (YY cross section) in positions other than an intersection.
