abstract Disclosed are a liquid crystal-containing composition capable of suppressing deterioration of display quality even when stored at a high temperature, a method for producing a liquid crystal-containing composition, and a liquid crystal display device using the same. For example, a cholesteric liquid crystal 2 and a microcapsule 3 containing a cholesteric liquid crystal 2 containing a polymer as a wall material and including the cholesteric liquid crystal 2 and an interface between the microcapsule 3 (cholesteric liquid crystal) 2), a group of particles 4 is present at the region-side interface including 2 to form an uneven portion. In addition, the cholesteric liquid crystal is dispersed and held in a resin member in a phase-separated state, and a group of particles 4 is present at the interface between the region containing the cholesteric liquid crystal 2 and the resin member as a polymer to form an uneven portion.
