A moving image blur problem in a hold-type display device is solved. Motion of an image is detected by detecting an amount of movement of the image from image data included in a frame, and using an image that is in an intermediate state between the frame and the image included in the next frame as an interpolated image. Can follow the movement of the eye, and by changing the brightness of the interpolated image, the display can be approximated to the impulse type, and the hold type display device that does not have the problem of motion blur and its A driving method can be provided.
