abstract An analytical instrument for measuring an analyte in a body fluid sample is provided. An analytical instrument including a display tutorial module for measuring an analyte (eg, glucose) in a body fluid sample (eg, a whole blood sample), the display tutorial module (having an image display device). A user interface, a memory device and a microprocessor are included. The memory device stores a tutorial having a plurality of chapters. Each of the plurality of chapters includes at least one tutorial image that illustrates the use of the analytical instrument. The microprocessor is configured to control and coordinate at least the user interface and the memory device. Further, the user interface, the microprocessor and the memory device are operably integrated and configured to display a tutorial image to the user on the image display device in an event-driven chapter unit.
