abstract | The present invention provides a novel synthesis method for producing an organosilicon compound in which an aromatic carbon atom-bonded hydrogen atom is substituted with a silyl group in a high yield. (A) a pentacoordinate silicon compound having a silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom and (B) a non-aromatic carbon-carbon unsaturated bond having at least one aromatic carbon atom-bonded hydrogen atom. An aromatic hydrocarbon or aromatic heterocyclic compound that does not have (C) is reacted in the presence of a complex catalyst of iridium, ruthenium, or rhodium, and the aromatic carbon atom-bonded hydrogen atom in component (B) is converted to (A ) A method for producing an organosilicon compound, comprising substituting with a silyl group derived from a pentacoordinate silicon compound having a silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom.
