titleOfInvention Method for producing zeolite-coated glass fiber and fiber structure thereof
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber production method and a fiber structure thereof capable of simultaneously applying a silicon compound and an aluminum compound to glass fibers by a single dipping treatment to cause a zeolite formation reaction. A method for producing a zeolite-coated glass fiber of the present invention is an aqueous solution in which a silicon compound, an aluminum compound and sodium hydroxide are dissolved, wherein the silicon compound is converted into silicon oxide and the aluminum compound is converted into aluminum oxide. The total amount (Y) of 0.0703 to 1.6403% by mass is dissolved in the aqueous solution, and the sodium hydroxide concentration (X) in the aqueous solution is 4 to 15% by mass, The glass fiber is treated with an aqueous solution in which the relationship between the total amount (Y) converted to silicon oxide and aluminum oxide and the sodium hydroxide concentration (X) is represented by the following formula (I). Y ≦ 0.1427X−0.5006 (I) [Selection figure] None
