abstract | 【Task】 Provided is a method for producing succinic acid by a continuous fermentation method that maintains high productivity stably over a long period of time under simple operating conditions. [Solution] The present invention relates to a continuous fermentation method in which a culture solution is separated into a filtrate and an unfiltered solution by a separation membrane, succinic acid as a desired fermentation product is recovered from the filtrate, and the unfiltered solution is retained or refluxed in the culture solution. This is a succinic acid production method by continuous fermentation that uses a porous membrane that has high permeability and high cell blocking rate and is difficult to block as a separation membrane, and is subjected to filtration treatment with a low transmembrane pressure difference. It becomes possible to remarkably improve the production efficiency of succinic acid by fermentation. [Selection] Figure 1 |
