To do. An epidural migration type containing a glycosaminoglycan degrading enzyme, preferably chondroitinase, more preferably chondroitinase ABC, in an amount effective for dissolving the nucleus pulposus existing in the epidural region. A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of a type of intervertebral disc herniation in which the nucleus pulposus is located outside the spinal dura, such as an intervertebral disc herniation or transligament prolapse disc herniation.
