abstract | An enteric preparation is provided using an enteric coating base capable of delivering a drug in a site specific to the small intestine. In the dissolution test specified in the 14th revision of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia, elution of the drug is not observed in the first liquid (pH 1.2) of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia, and 20 in the second liquid (pH 6.8) of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia. Provided is an enteric preparation coated with an enteric coating base for specifically delivering a drug to a small intestinal site where the drug is eluted after a minute. The enteric coating base is preferably selected from the group consisting of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose acetate succinate, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose phthalate, methacrylic acid copolymer, and carboxymethylethylcellulose.
