【Task】 The present invention provides methods for quantifying nucleic acids from problematic samples such as aging samples, formalin-fixed samples, paraffin-embedded samples, samples containing aneuploid cells, and cells containing fragmented nucleic acids. [Solution] Methods include efficient solubilization of nucleic acids under non-denaturing conditions from stored clinical samples without relying on organic extraction, normalization of cell numbers regardless of aneuploidy, and nucleic acid fragmentation status. Methods of detecting and methods of providing a standard curve of degraded nucleic acid samples. [Selection figure] None |
