abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for evaluating a stratum corneum capable of improving the accuracy of measurement and analysis of the degree of order and fluidity of intercellular lipids in the stratum corneum. A method for evaluating a stratum corneum includes a step of peeling a stratum corneum 2 from a skin 0 using a support 1 to which an adhesive 3 is adhered, and the support 1 to which the stratum corneum 2 is adhered is subjected to a predetermined condition. The electron spin resonance spectrum is measured using the step of leaving the substrate for a predetermined time, the step of treating the stratum corneum 2 adhered on the support 1 with the spin probe agent, and the support 1 having the stratum corneum 2 treated with the spin probe agent adhered thereto. It has at least a measurement step, and is characterized by using a solution obtained by dissolving the spin probe agent in a water-soluble solvent and then diluting with water when processing with the spin probe agent.
