PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent heat generation at the time of overcharging of a lithium ion secondary battery and reduce swelling and capacity reduction due to continuous use of charging and discharging. According to various additives, a polymerization inhibitor is added to an electrolyte solution of a lithium ion secondary battery. The polymerization inhibitor is present together at a concentration of 100 ppm to 5% with respect to the additive, and then mixed and synthesized in the electrolytic solution.
