abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an improved aqueous coating material that can provide a photothermographic material having a stable photographic performance even if it is used after the preparation of an aqueous dispersion of polymer fine particles or an aqueous dispersion of polymer fine particles. The present invention provides a method for producing a mold photothermographic material. A method for producing a photothermographic material comprising, on a support, at least photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for silver ions, and a polymer latex. A dispersion containing a surfactant having an alkylene oxide group as a repeating unit and an antioxidant is used for at least one of the agent, the polymer latex, or another useful photographic compound.
