abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a thermoplastic polyurethane composition capable of improving productivity during molding and providing a molded article without impairing mechanical properties and design properties, and a method for producing the composition. SOLUTION: 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyurethane (A) having a weight average molecular weight measured by GPC in the range of 5.0 × 10 4 to 40 × 10 4 and a density measured according to a density gradient tube method of JIS K7112. Wax in the range of 890 to 980 (kg / m 3 ), a polyethylene-converted number average molecular weight measured by GPC in the range of 700 to 4,000, and satisfying the relationship of the following formula (I) (B ) A thermoplastic polyurethane composition comprising 0.01 to 5 parts by weight. B ≦ 0.0075 × K (I) (B is a content ratio (% by weight) of a component having a molecular weight of 20,000 or more in the polyethylene wax measured by GPC, and K is 140 of the polyethylene wax.
